Meet Bendeq, the Artist
Bendeq Bendeq is an Amazigh multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and producer from Zwara, Libya, active since 2001. Blending Amazigh folk traditions with modern and metal influences, he developed TAGAFA, a genre connecting North African musical heritage with contemporary expression.
Working independently from his home studio since 2019, his music reflects cultural identity, language preservation, and artistic experimentation rooted in Amazigh tradition.
Based in Zwara, Bendeq Bendeq continues to develop TAGAFA as a living musical bridge between Amazigh heritage and contemporary global sound.
